Find out how a charitable donation from UK Healthcare will help Fortunatus

You might know by now that here at UK Healthcare, we pride ourselves on giving whatever we can to great causes from all over the country; causes like Fortunatus Housing Solutions.

Fortunatus provide housing solutions to vulnerable adults with learning difficulties and/or mental health issues. With their help, these adults can live successfully as a part of the wider community.

But in order to do their job most effectively, the Fortunatus team must maintain a huge network of contacts and communications; with care workers, partner organisations like social services and, of course, the vulnerable adults they look after.

That’s why UK Healthcare has provided Fortunatus with a cash donation which will fund the production of bespoke management software designed to make life easier for everybody.

Engage by process management specialists Capita, will allow Fortunatus to communicate directly with service users and supporters. The former will be able to access a Benefit Entitlement Calculator, while supporters will be able to donate to Fortunatus online thanks to the system.

According to Sara Pimblett, Event Manager at Fortunatus, the software will revolutionise the way the charity communicates with associates, supporters and vulnerable people.

She said: “We are thrilled at the prospect of introducing the Engage system to anybody who is associated with Fortunatus. It will allow everybody at the organisation to stay closer than ever to all of our service users and it couldn’t be simpler for patrons to offer their support.

“This project would not have been possible without the generosity of UK Healthcare and our other supporters throughout the country. They will make a difference to so many people’s lives.”

In addition to providing housing to vulnerable adults and ensuring that facilities are maintained, secure and safe, Fortunatus aim to provide mobile advice days across all local area authorities. But again, they rely upon the generosity of the general public and businesses like UK Healthcare.
